Artisan Collection

We are privileged to be in contact with some of the finest hand crafters and artisans in the field of Highland Dress, many of which are local to our area.  Wearing Scottish Highland dress is all about tradition, heritage and culture.  What better way to honor the past than to ensure that these traditional crafts are carried into the future?  We are very pleased to bring the work of these fine crafters to your attention in this, our "Artisan Collection."  Each product we feature in this gallery is hand crafted by an individual artist, not a firm or corporation.  And while a small portion of the sale of these items goes to benefit the Scottish Tartans Museum, most of the purchase price of these goods goes directly to the artist.  We hope that you enjoy this collection, and if you have any similar artists you'd like to bring to our attention, please let us know!

“I do not prize the word 'cheap.' It is not a badge of honor. It is a symbol of despair. Cheap prices make for cheap goods; cheap goods make for cheap men; and cheap men make for a cheap country.” -- Wm. McKinley, 25th President of the United States, Scottish descendant.
