This plaid in the MacDuff tartan measures 55" x 93" with a purled fringe on the two narrow sides. It is made from two lengths of cloth joined together, one 31" wide and the other 62" wide.
This plaid was on loan to our museum from 1994 until 2012 when it was returned to the Scottish Tartans Authority in Crieff, Scotland.
