The Scottish Register of Tartans (the Register) is a national repository of tartan designs. It is an on-line website database facility maintained by the National Archives of Scotland, an executive agency of the Scottish Government. If you need further assistance finding a tartan, please phone us or email your request. Many of these tartans are available in a wide range of products through our museum gift shop. We also offer a custom weaving service for those rare and hard to find tartans.
