: The easiest form of kilt is a plaid. This just involves a very long piece of material( about 5m). Lay it out on the ground and fol from one end in a concetina fashion until you have a folded piece and about 1.5m left. Lie down on the top of the folded material and bring round you body. Secure with a belt. Bring the remaining part of the unfolded material up over your left should and secure with a brooch. This is the traditional kilt worn by highlanders and not the pleated version which is a Victorian invension. Good Luck!
